Country French Dinner

 

Baked Brie with Currants & Pine Nuts

1 wheel of Brie ( 8-inch circle) weighing about 2 pounds. Remove the outer rind of mold from the top. Place Brie in an 8-inch round quiche dish or porcelain baker.
3/4 cup currants
3/4 cup pine nuts

Mark the top of the Brie into 4 wedges. Cover alternate wedges with currants and pine nuts. Place Brie in a 350° oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until Brie is soft. Serve at once with small toast points or pale soda crackers.
