This is an informal, inexpensive dinner to serve after April 15th. It is a fun dinner, too. Meat Loaf is getting more and more popular lately. I guess, every so often it feels good to go back to basics. The Mashed Potatoes are traditional. Garlic Mashed Potatoes are so delicious, you may want to substitute them.

Chocolate Bread Pudding is a great dessert and the Creme Vanilla is actually Whipped Creme Fraiche. So while this is a homey dinner, it is sparkled with some very elegant touches.
