

1/2 cup dried apricot halves
1/2 cup soft pitted prunes
2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
2 pears, peeled, cored and sliced
2 thin slices lemon
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
In a 9x12-inch baking pan, lay the fruit. Stir
together the remaining ingredients and pour over the fruit. Cover
pan with foil and bake in a 350-degree oven for 35 minutes, or
until apples are tender. Remove lemon slices and serve warm. Serves
8.
