

8 peaches, peeled, halved and stoned, about 2 pounds
1/2 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts (optional, but nice)
In a 8x12-inch baking, place peaches cut-side
down. Stir together the next 4 ingredients and pour over the peaches.
Bake, uncovered in a 350-degree oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle
walnuts on top and bake another 10 minutes. Serve warm or at room
temperature. Serves 8
