

Strawberries Grand Marnier:
1 cup sliced strawberries, pureed and sieved
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon Grand Marnier
1 teaspoon vanilla
Glace:
8 egg whites
2 tablespoons sugar
Stir together strawberries, sugar, Grand Marnier and vanilla and allow to stand until sugar is dissolved. Meanwhile, in the large bowl of an electric mixer, beat whites until foamy. Slowly add the sugar and continue beating until whites are stiff and glossy, but not dry. Fold in strawberry mixture.
Divide between 8 paper-lined muffin cups and
freeze until firm. Decorate top with a strawberry half and a faint
sprinkle of macaroon cookie crumbs. Also delicious flavored with
Peach & Triple Sec, or Rum & Raisins or Toasted Almonds.
Simply substitute any of the following for the strawberry flavoring.
