

(Method for Cooked Fruit Tart)
This method is for fruit that will be cooked in the crust. Pre-bake the crust for 15 minutes, or until it is just beginning to take on color and then fill with fruit. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until fruit is tender. Pears can be substituted for the apples.
1 10-inch Crisp Cookie Crust (baked for
only 15 minutes)
4 medium apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
1 teaspoon flour
Bake crust for 15 minutes. Toss together apples,
cinnamon sugar, orange peel and flour until blended and arrange
apple mixture attractively over the crust. Bake at 350-degrees
for 30 minutes. Serves 10.
