

Hot Spiced Apple Cider with
Orange & Lemon (50), 244
1 quart apple cider
1/2 cup orange juice, plus strip of peel from 1/4 orange
2 tablespoons lemon juice, plus strip of peel from 1/8 lemon
1 tablespoon sugar
2 sticks cinnamon, broken into 1-inch pieces
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
In a large enamel pot, (not metal), heat together
all the ingredients for 15 minutes. Do not allow to boil. Strain
and serve hot. Yields 10 servings.
