This is a variation of my cake-mix recipe and is especially colorful and festive around holiday time.

1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted
2 1/2 cups spice cake mix

1 cup red candied cherries, sliced or chopped
1 cup green candied cherries, sliced or chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
1 can(14 ounces) condensed milk

In a 9x13-inch pan, melt the butter. Sprinkle cake mix over the butter. Sprinkle cherries and nuts evenly over the cake mix. Drizzle the condensed milk evenly over all. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until top is golden. Continue as above.
