
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups finely chopped walnuts
2 cups flour
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in the remaining ingredients until blended. Shape dough into 3/4-inch balls and place on a lightly buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for about 15 to 20 minutes or until cookies are set, but not browned. Roll in powdered sugar while hot and again when cool. Yields about 60 cookies.
