Swiss Chewy Almond Cookies

1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons finely grated orange peels

1/4 cup Creme De Cacao
1 cup finely ground almonds
1/2 cup flour

In a saucepan bring butter, sugar, and orange peel to a boil. Stir in liqueur, almonds and flour until well blended.

On a greased and floured cookie sheet, drop the batter by the teaspoonful. Bake at 350° for about 8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Allow to cool in pan for 1 minute and then remove to a brown paper bag to continue cooling. Yields about 36 cookies.
