
This is one of the most delicious stuffings for mushrooms. I have probably received more letters praising this recipe than any other.
3/4 pound medium-sized mushrooms, cleaned
and stems removed
1/2 pound crabmeat, pick over for bones
1/2 pound cream cheese
1/2 cup garlic croutons, finely crushed
Parmesan cheese, grated
paprika
Mix together the crabmeat, cream cheese and croutons until mixture is blended. Mound mixture into mushroom caps. Sprinkle tops generously with grated Parmesan cheese and lightly with paprika. Broil until tops are lightly browned.. Make extras. They are especially good.
