
You will enjoy this Sephardic-style haroses. It is so delicious and versatile, you will enjoy using this on toast or muffins throughout the year. Also, very good on ice cream or frozen yogurt.
1/2 cup orange juice
3 medium apples, peeled, cored and grated
1 cup dried apricots, chopped (4 ounces)
1/2 cup yellow raisins
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
In a saucepan, simmer together first group of ingredients for
about 30 minutes or until apples are soft. Stir in toasted walnuts.
Yields about 4 cups.
