A Regal "White Christmas" Feast
 

 

Sautéed Cucumbers with Chives & Dill

3 medium cucumbers, peeled and cut in half, lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds with a spoon and slice the cucumbers, crosswise, into thin slices.

2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon chicken seasoned stock base
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons chopped chives
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/8 teaspoon dill weed

In a saucepan, melt butter with chicken stock base. Add the remaining ingredients and saute mixture for about 10 minutes or until cucumbers are tender and all the liquid rendered has been absorbed. Serves 6.
